Lake Tarpon, Tarpon Springs

Lake Tarpon is known by the locals as: “The Jewel of Pinellas County”. Tarpon Lake is the largest lake in Pinellas County with a staggering 2,500 acres, encompassing 522  miles including 2 of the largest tributaries, South Creek and Brooker Creek. You can take advantage of the grills at Anderson Park for lunch, enjoy the rest of your day out on the lake having some fun in the sun, then enjoy a nice dinner of freshly caught fish out at the Chestnut Park or any of several other parks and public access points.

Lake Tarpon is world renowned for its Large Mouth Bass fishing but that’s not all we recommend. You can enjoy a Water Skiing, Tubing, Knee boarding.

Photographers love the picturesque scenery.

We absolutely have something for everyone here. If you have someone in your party who’d prefer not to be on the water or if you could use a break from all the fun in the sun, you can check out Lake Tarpon Resort and Sundown Sports Bar & Grille for some of the best fresh local seafood. We know you’ll have a great experience and will want to keep coming back for many years to come.
